Housing Assistance
We provide support to individuals and families who are facing housing insecurities, facing eviction and are at risk of homelessness. We provide a range of assistance such as emergency rental assistance, emergency utility bill support, as well as assistance with security deposit and application fees. We also intend to focus on acquiring and rehabilitating properties in our community to provide below- market rental options. We also collaborate with local landlords, and community leaders to expand housing availability and establish supportive environments for individuals and families.
Expert and Genuine Advocacy
Our case managers embody expert and genuine advocacy, providing compassionate support to individuals and families facing housing challenges. With a deep understanding of the emotional and practical difficulties involved, the case manager takes the time to listen and connect with clients, ensuring that their voices are heard and their unique situations are acknowledged. Through a nurturing and personalized approach, they guide clients through the often-overwhelming process of finding stable housing, offering encouragement and reassurance every step of the way. By connecting clients with essential community resources, negotiating with landlords, and providing steadfast support, the case manager not only champions their clients rights but also instills hope, helping them build a brighter future in a safe and welcoming home.
Intensive Housing Case Management
An intensive housing case manager helps individuals find and keep stable housing while supporting their personal growth. Intensive housing case managers assist clients with complex needs, helping them build the skills to become self-sufficient. Individualized Support Plans: They create and carry out Individual Service Plans (ISPs) that meet each clients specific needs, focusing on housing stability, health care, and job help. They are also trained to handle crises and provide immediate support to clients when they need it most.

Our group includes social workers, law enforcement officers, housing case workers, resident assistants, teachers, advocates, and parents, united in our mission to uplift the community we serve in the City of Harrisburg and throughout Dauphin County.
