Stable Housing for Working Families Falling Through the Cracks
There is an issue with maintaining stability now more than ever. Thousands of working families are doing everything right! Working full-time, raising children, and contributing to their communities—yet still cannot afford stable housing. They are often denied assistance, not because they don’t need help, but because they earn just above the eligibility thresholds.
At A Do Over- a Community Without Limitation we provide targeted housing support and case management for ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) households. We bridge the gap between income and affordability—helping families stay housed, stabilized financially, while building long-term independence.

Who We Are
A Do Over – A Community Without Limitation is a housing stability organization dedicated to supporting working individuals and families who fall outside traditional assistance systems. We are your neighbors—a dedicated group of individuals who have faced similar challenges and committed ourselves to transforming the system over the years. We have fought for systemic change and stood resilient, striving to make a meaningful difference. Our group includes social workers, law enforcement officers, housing case workers, resident assistants, teachers, advocates, and parents, united in our mission to uplift the community we serve in the City of Harrisburg and throughout Dauphin County.
Vision Statement:
To create a community where every family has access to the resources and support, they need to overcome barriers, achieve stability, and thrive. We envision a future where second chances are embraced, and every individual is empowered to redefine their own story, fostering unity and resilience in our neighborhoods.
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to provide housing stability and economic empowerment to working families facing financial barriers, ensuring they have the support needed to achieve long-term independence. We strive to eliminate those barriers that hinder progress and connect individuals with essential resources that foster stability, self-sufficiency, and hope. Through advocacy and community support, we are dedicated to transforming lives, restoring dignity, and building a resilient community where everyone has the opportunity for a brighter future. We believe in the power of second chances and are committed to uplifting those who have been overlooked, ensuring that all individuals can redefine their own stories.
